Pre-Appt
what to do before your tattoo appointment
If you have reference photos other than the ones you submitted with your initial request I ask that you provide them as early as possible (with your initial tattoo request date is ideal). That being said, please note I am unable to replicate a specific image. Every tattoo that I do is an original piece designed by me and I’m proud of my work! Reference photos will be used for reference only.
If you find yourself wishing to make changes to your idea I ask that you send me an email with your name and appointment time/date in the subject line no later than one week prior to your appointment notifying me. I will do my best to accommodate alterations with notice prior to your appointment or small changes the day of your tattoo but please note that any major re-draws may require your appointment to be rescheduled and may result in the forfeit of your original deposit as a result. Please also note it is entirely the artist’s discretion as to what is considered a large re-draw. No exceptions.
Please refrain from drinking alcohol the night before, and/or the day of, your appointment. We do not tattoo clients who may have alcohol in their blood for many reasons. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who we suspect has violated this rule and refusal on this basis may result in the loss of your deposit.
Lastly, please come prepared! Remember we are CASH ONLY so you may wish to hit the ATM before you arrive, although there is a TD across the street if booking at The Brindle Room When you are getting ready for your appointment it is a good idea to wear something comfortable, dark in colour and grants easy access to the area you are getting tattooed. It is possible that ink could get on your clothing so black cotton is best. You may also wish to bring headphones (although we always have music or a podcast playing in the shop), snacks, or a sweater in case you get cold.
